Applications are now open for the 2025-2026 Ottawa-Bologna Student Exchange Program. This is an exciting opportunity exclusively for Grade 9-11 students at Brookfield High School to experience the Italian culture in Bologna.  

Each fall, Brookfield students travel to Liceo Laura Bassi in Bologna, immersing themselves in the language and lifestyle of the region. Then, in the spring, the program welcomes students from Bologna to Ottawa, providing Brookfield students with a chance to interact with Italian culture at home. 

The program is open to Brookfield High School students. Students will also earn a school credit. The estimated cost of the exchange is approximately $2800. OCENET bursaries are available.

Virtual Information Session
Interested students and their families are encouraged to attend a virtual information session on April 24, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please use this form to register for the session.

Key dates for the program are as follows:
Brookfield students in Bologna: October 4 - October 18, 2025
Bologna students in Ottawa: May 9 - May 23, 2026
